Terms and Conditions

1.  Orders may be made by post or phone.

2.  All orders are subject to availability. If a substitute is acceptable we will send a plant as close as possible to that originally ordered.

3.  Payment may be made by cheque, debit card, or credit card. 

4.  Card payment will be taken on the date of dispatch.

5.  If paying by cheque it should be a ‘limit cheque’ i.e. above the space for inserting the amount ‘not to exceed’ should be written. This means that if a plant is not available you do not have to have a substitute nor do we have to make a refund.

6.  Cheques should be made payable to Green Garden Herbs.

7.  All prices include VAT where applicable.

8.  Minimum order value is £15 plus postage and packing. 

9.  Except where agreed otherwise all plants will be dispatched as 9cm pot specimens.  Items may have to be cut back for ease of packing e.g. lavender may have long flower stalks removed.

10.  All plants will be dispatched as soon as possible after receipt of order, and we will do our best to dispatch within 28 days. In very hot or cold weather this may be delayed to preserve the plants. All plants should be delivered within 48 hours of dispatch

11.  Any special delivery instructions must be made clear when ordering. eg if going on holiday delivery to be delayed, or to leave parcel with a neighbour.

12.  Packages must be opened immediately upon arrival.

13.  All plants leave the nursery in good condition. If any arrive damaged this must be reported to us immediately and confirmed in writing within 7 days.

14.  Every effort is made to ensure plants are true to name and free from pests and disease.  Our liability is limited to replacement of plants supplied or, at our option, the crediting of any payment for them.

All seed packet and seed box prices include postage and packing free.

Prices only apply to deliveries of plants on UK mainland destinations. For all other destinations please contact us for a quotation.

Special rates may apply for special website or show offers.

Please phone for postage and packing prices on all other items other than plants, including rhubarb crowns and garlic bulbs.

Remember, we may be able to bring your order to a Show, Plant Fair or Farmers Market to avoid you having to pay postage and packing.
